When Kesson Physiotherapy first contacted us it was just an enquiry regarding hosting. Their original designer was shutting down their hosting and was asking their clients to find alternatives.

During our first meeting though, it was obvious that they wanted more from their website. They wanted to be able to update it easily, they were potentially interested in blogging and definitely wanted to interact more with their Twitter and Facebook accounts.

A careful migration of the website to our servers and email to Google Apps took place, with the absolute bare minimum of downtime. 

This then became a project to convert their static site, using dated table based design, into a WordPress implementation. They were pretty happy with their current design though, so with some minor improvements the look and feel stayed pretty much the same.

Until we transferred some of their brochure downloads – Kesson had obviously spent some time on their brochures with some very effective design and branding. Little or none of this was evident on their website though.

So, purely as a “we think this would be nice” exercise we also built a WordPress theme to match their branding. This went down very well and when the site was relaunched it was with the new image.
